When ready to use, pour off the water & stir well to incorporate any residual moisture. Works like a charm: zero browning!

I made this but left out the Serrano (I can’t eat spicy). I also added 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil. So good!

Delicious and so easy to do. Your video was great since I wasn’t sure how charred the tomatoes and jalapeños were supposed to be. Plus, your tip how to keep the guacamole from turning brown -aces!!

There even better if they marinade for a couple of hours in the refrigerator.]]> I add 1/2 of an onion also. Oh my goodness, this is one of my favorite things.
There is one more recipe for warm weather: Slice cucumber into thin, but not too thin rounds, squeeze 2 or 3 limes over cucumbers, and add a pinch of salt. Stir, and 😊. There even better if they marinade for a couple of hours in the refrigerator.

I like the idea of roasting/charring the garlic, pepper, and tomatoes. Easy way to peel the tomato. I also usually pierce the tomato as it is cooling before chopping it up. This avoids making the guac too runny/moist. I also sometimes use a small sliced scallion to top off the guac with some more chopped cilantro on top. I love your recipes but sometimes adapt them a little bit to my taste. Thanks for sharing all the videos of your recipes.
