I Made this one and my wife usually don’t like baked beans
she could not eating it…much better than Bush beans very

Just finished cooking these. The flavor is really good. Mine does not look like your pic though. I used canned beans rinsed and drained. And I cooked in a pan in the oven. It was really runny. I drained about 2 cups of juice. Next time I will precook the bacon instead of cooking raw bacon. I am gonna stick it back in the over after draining off juice to see if it thickens up some.

I made this for a cookout and it got rave reviews! Someone even said it was the best homemade beans they’d ever had. This is the best recipe site I’ve ever been on, everything I make from here is a hit!

I was concerned about all that liquid. It was in the 90’s so I went with the slow cooker method. It’s better but think next time I’ll reduce it a little. The beans I used were too small (navy). Next time I’ll use great northern. It’s a lot of beans but great flavor. I will keep the recipe.
