Short Cut:
In a hurry and don’t have time to make your own dough? Many grocery stores sell pre-made bread dough. You can also use frozen roll dough, or bread dough from a can, including canned bicuit dough. Note that biscuit dough will change the texture of the bread. You’ll need about 30 ounces (1.875 pounds) of dough for this recipe.

I just took this out of the oven and it smells heavenly. Grandkids helped make it and they are excited to eat!!
Best carrot cake so good thanks
This was delicious, however my sugar was a little crystallized so I think I didn’t cook long enough. I also added fresh home made bacon bits in with the pecans and it was YUM
Can this be prepped and put in the fridge the night before, or will it rise too much?
Yes, you can prep the bread part, but not the caramel pecan sauce. The fridge will significantly slow the rising of the dough, but there will still be some rising.
I made this today and it turned out great! I made the dough in the bread maker on the dough setting but did not add the dough all at once when it was mixing I watched it and added as needed. I will definitely make it again !
