What if I don’t have a stand mixer?
You can still make these delicious buns without a mixer. In a large mixing bowl, combine the yeast, sugar, salt and about 2 cups of the flour. Stir in the liquid mixture until well combined. Add in the remaining flour 1/2 cup - 1 cup at a time, kneading it into the dough as you go. Once all the flour has been added in, knead for another 5 minutes or so. The dough should be nice and smooth.

What kind of flour should I use? Can I make them gluten free?
Use all-purpose or bread flour in this recipe for best results. Gluten free flours are all different and cannot generally be substituted. Try a blend like Cup-for-Cup that is designed specifically to replace regular flour.
-
Can I freeze these buns?
Yes, these buns can be frozen for later use. Be sure to completely cool your hamburger buns before freezing them. Freeze in an airtight resealable freezer bag to prevent freezer burn. They will stay good in the freezer for 1 to 3 months. To thaw, simply remove from the freezer and let thaw at room temperature for 2 to 3 hours.

These were so soft and so perfect! I did let them do a final rise for about 40 minutes after shaping and before baking and then brushed the tops with a little butter for cutting. Thank you for another amazing recipe ❤️
The buns turned out great except they were a bit flat. What did I do wrong? My husband eats them anyway. lol
I made these last night - yes very quick and easy. Most of all tasty. They fit my 5-ounce burger perfectly. I have to work on my shaping but they came out great.
They did need more time and they did need to be put on TWO trays. Question - how many ounces of dough per bun Pre-baking?
This is a great recipe to use for hamburger or hot dog buns. These freeze well so I double my batch to freeze ahead for convenience. I noticed some commented the buns were heavy and hard. I always lightly butter mine before baking then when they come out of oven brush the tops with butter. This keeps them soft. Excellent recipe. I vote this 5 star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Most delicious buns.
Love you recipes and you!
The best home made bun I’ve ever eaten.

I make these all the time! Yum!
I make these all the time and they are Wonderful! I also make the French bread, Yum!
I have never been much of a baker but your bread recipes and techniques make it easy. I was impressed with how easy this was and how good they turned out. The only problem is that I’m afraid my wife will insist I make these every time we have a burger.
